All of our diving personnel are ADCI qualified commercial divers. MCDI is not only committed to maintaining our own excellent quality and safety record, we are committed to doing our part to ensure the reputation of the companies that we work with.  Since our founding in 1988, MCDI has been focused on the safe completion of all projects and has an extremely favorable safety record and EMR.  Considering the wide range of projects that we are involved with on a daily basis, this truly is a remarkable accomplishment.  Because of this record, we are often chosen to perform projects requiring particular care in order to complete.

MCDI is a general member of the Association of Diving Contractors, International (ADCI). This organization's goals are to promote safety, education, and communication within the diving industry and, in addition to certifying commercial divers, the ADCI works with government agencies to establish regulations and standards. I am a past chairman of the ADCI Midwest chapter, past editor of the Midwest chapter newsletter, and I am currently an ADCI National Executive Committee board member and have been active on many ADCI standards committees. Our company meets or exceeds all OSHA regulations and ADCI consensus standards for commercial diving. In addition, all required paperwork and certifications are kept current on all personnel and equipment including dive physicals, CPR and first aid, oxygen administration for diving accident training, air tests, hose tests, pneumofathometer tests, etc.

We are experienced with working in all types of inland conditions including shallow water, deep water, fast current, large and small rivers, and lakes and streams, contaminated water diving, and confined space entry.  In addition to our vast experience in all aspects of inland diving, our stringent safety precautions, and outstanding safety record, we also own and maintain an extensive inventory of equipment including:
