Diver Operated Dredging Around an Intake
Mainstream was contracted to perform dredging services on Lake Oahe near Wakpala, South Dakota.
MER Diving's dive crew dredged an area 50' square and 8' deep around an intake structure down to an elevation of 1,522 feet and discharged the material approximately 1,300 feet horizontally into a containment area located on shore.
This was a deep water diving project with water depths of up to 100 feet, requiring the use of company-owned decompression chambers.
