MCDI assisted with the underwater oil cleanup efforts after 500,000 gallons of Venezuelan crude oil leaked from the Athos I into the Delaware River near Philadelphia, PA.
Because of the cold water, the dive team had to use steam lances to heat the oil and pump it to an onsite skimmer barge.
