Ben Hertford, General Manager
As the General Manager with a construction and engineering background with over six years of experience, Ben Hertford leads marine and heavy civil construction projects at Mainstream. Having progressed through the engineering and construction fields, Ben effortlessly manages oversite for projects from pre-construction through closeout and is involved in planning, scheduling, cost tracking, and execution while maintaining contract compliance and safety. Manages project financials including cost-to-complete forecasting, change management, and risk identification. Ben not only prepares and reviews proposals, contracts and technical documentation, he leads field teams while supporting and mentoring project managers, supervisors and superintendents. Ben has experience in geotechnical field operations, environmental compliance support, and data collection, with direct involvement in client coordination, reporting, and operational decision-making, making him an asset to Mainstream Commercial Divers.
